Reminiscences, clippings, and other papers, relating to the sighting by Forni and a neighbor, Harvard Hodgkins, of two German spies who landed from a submarine at Hancock Point near the end of World War II on Nov. 29, 1944, their assistance in providing information to the FBI, and subsequent honors received throughout the U.S., after the apprehension of the German agents; together with newspaper clippings, photographs, magazine articles, and excerpts from books written about the incident.

The FBI established this classification when it assumed responsibility for ascertaining the protection capabilities and weaknesses of defense plants. Each plant survey was a separate case file, with the survey, supplemental surveys, and all communications dealing with a plant insofar as plant protection was concerned, filed together.
